He graduated in June, 1970 with a 3.5 grade point average in accounting from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree. Robert received a Master of Science in Taxation degree with a 3.5 grade point average from Depaul University in Chicago, Illinois.

He holds a Certified Public Accounting certificate from the State of Illinois, Robert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Chicago Tax Club.

Robert is married and his interests include community volunteering, Bible study, travel, reading and golf.
